Run 0 – 5k

I never tough I would become a runner, i really didn’t like it at all. I made it 1.40 km first time when i started to actually try, but i had signed up for 10 km run and was running for the blind children’s fund and people were donating  so i didn’t want to let people down so even if it was boring as hell it eventually became easier and more fun with time and after i ran 10 km i felt like a superhero.

But I’m going to share with you how to start and if you’re not a runner just start with 0 – 5 km. First 5 k just means 5 kilometers or 3.1 miles. People often become discouraged by the difficulty of the activity because they start to fast and push to hard. If you do so your body might end up pushing back and you end up resenting running.
It takes time to run further distances so patience is necassary.

I’m going to put in 6 weeks running program for you to look at and use if you like.
But I also want to recommend that you always consult a physician before starting any exercise programs, i don’t want to be responsible for anyone injuring him self.

Rest – You will need two days a week to rest, to give your body time to rest and recover for your next workouts.

Strides – short bursts of speed from jogging to sprinting to jogging again, all in the course of 20 to 30 seconds. When doing your weekly strides, walk or rest for 40 to 90 seconds between each one. Stay relaxed during a stride. Strides will help loosen up your legs, get you ready for faster workouts, and reinforce good form.

This is just a plan I used, you can rearrange what days you exercise on so it fits your life better.

Hope it will help you get started.
